Screen vs. Print Quality
One of a series of Louvre photos taken in Paris, France. The images highlight the contrast between the modern IM Pei pyramids (completed in 1989) that mark the entrance to the Louvre and the 12th century palace that houses the art collection. The original photo was taken with a Nikon D1X digital camera. The image was then downloaded and digitally enhanced. The archival "fine art giclee" prints are produced using the professional-level Epson 7800 Photographic Printer with "ultrachrome K3" ink on Epson's Somerset Velvet paper, creating a soft, matted "painting-like" finish. Signed & numbered limited edition: 8x12 & 12x18, 100 prints each; 16x24, 50 prints each; all others, 25 prints each.
