Screen vs. Print Quality
Terry and I started creating this series of black and white flower images as a way to cope with our first winter in Northern Alberta. Having moved from Southern British Columbia, we were unprepared for the intensity of the cold which successfully removed any desire we had for outdoor photography. Although we are usually avid supporters of using natural light, we created this series in our studio using studio lights and reflectors. This image was taken using a Hassleblad medium format camera with extension tubes and TMAX 100 film.

Our menu options are for digitally enhanced scans printed on Moab Fine Art paper. This image is also available as a fiber print hand processed in a traditional darkroom (special order only).
