During an October trip to southern Michigan I visited a little lake near Chelsea and found an old camp, now operated by some joint agencies of the State of Michigan.  Many of the cabins and outdoor furniture looked to be hand hewn.  It was a peaceful, rustic spot, nestled among the changing fall leaves and white pines. Someone was prepared with this woodpile for a cold winter.
