Screen vs. Print Quality
The yellow rose water lily, officially known as a Nymphaea, is the jewel of any water garden. This plant is known for its brilliant yellow flowers and deep green large leaves, some with fluted edges. Elegant and fascinating, this beautiful yellow flower only blooms for three days, opening during the day and closing at night, before dropping to the bottom of the pond. Wild in a pond in Upper Michigan, I took this photograph just as the sun was coming up making the water a rich deep blue. The stillness and tranquility of the colors makes this image one of my favorite photographs, one that hangs in my own home.
This image is a Limited Edition photograph and only 250 prints will be sold.
