Two young Ladakhi monks lounging in the threshold of a temple shrine at Hemis Gompa - Hemis Monastery - in Ladakh, a Tibetan kingdom in the high Indian Himalaya. A 15 foot or so gilded bodhisattva might be barely discerned in the interior of the temple, just to the left of the lit bulb.
