The Garden Of Eden in Arches National Park (Utah) has a stunning array of unusual rock spires, hoodoos and sandstone monoliths.  A great time to visit this area is in winter when the La Sal mountains have a covering of snow.  Stormlight like this just begs the photographer to shoot in the black and white medium, where the dramatic rocks, shadows and sky are best portrayed in shades and tones rather than color.
