During an October trip to southern Michigan I visited a little lake near Chelsea and found an old camp, now operated by some joint agencies of the State of Michigan.  Many of the cabins and outdoor furniture looked to be hand hewn.   The canoes were stacked for the winter season, covered in pine needles and fallen leaves.
