An abstraction of a very large grove of multi-colored trees, taken in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan in October.  This image was captured on Fuji Velvia slide film and scanned into a digital file.  It was created by progressively zooming the camera's lens during the exposure.  Bold colors and contrast, coupled with the movement created in the camera, yield a new perspective on the fascinating Autumn season.
