"Aspens/ North Rim" - Grand Canyon National Park, Arizona

Quaking Aspen trees grace the high forest plateau in the Kaibab National Forest on the North Rim of Grand Canyon National Park.  An interesting side note... in order to capture this beautiful image I literally had to lay on my back and then set up my tripod so that it straddled my chest.  I also had to position myself so that I was directly in the shadow of the center aspen to shade my lens from the sun which allowed me to capture this gorgeous backlit image.
