Screen vs. Print Quality
Part of a series of Greek Island images. This image is one view of the ruins of Knossos, which was the capital of the Minoan empire in Crete, which is now part of Greece. It was built originally in 1900 BC and then restored after an earthquake in 1450 BC. The site was uncovered in 1900. The original photo was taken with a Nikon D2X digital camera. The image was then downloaded and digitally enhanced. The archival "fine art giclee" prints are produced using the professional-level Epson 7800 Photographic Printer with "ultrachrome K3" ink on Epson's Somerset Velvet paper, creating a soft, matted "painting-like" finish. Signed & numbered limited edition: 8x12 & 12x18, 100 prints each; 16x24, 50 prints each; all others, 25 prints each.
